EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (AP) - An elementary school teacher whose diamond fell out of her wedding ring in Eau Claire thought she had lost it for good.

But, thanks to the keen eye of a Walgreens employee, the gem is back in the hands of Michelle Finder. She was running errands last weekend when she felt her ring catch on a shopping cart at Walgreens. She thought nothing of it.

A while later at another store, Finder noticed the sparkle was gone from her wedding ring. She retraced her steps back to Walgreens and gave an employee her name and phone number even though she knew finding the diamond was a long shot.

Finder tells the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram (https://bit.ly/1mXH8LB ) she was absolutely stunned when the Walgreens employee called her the next day and told her she found the diamond near the cart area.
