Brian Adams

Age: 50

Residence: Spartanburg

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Western Michigan University

Career: Self-employed information technology consultant

Political experience: None

Family: Wife Terri, three children

Curtis Loftis

Age: 55

Residence: West Columbia

Education: Associate’s degree in retail management, University of South Carolina

Career: Majority owner of Home Pest Control Co.; founder of Saluda Charitable Foundation; owner of rental properties

Political experience: Won the state treasurer’s office in 2010; ran unsuccessfully for Lexington County Council in 1982

Family: Divorced, no children
