CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) - A 24-year-old Cedar Rapids man faces up to 20 years in federal prison after being charged with one count of bank robbery.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the northern district of Iowa says Jacob Allen Mack was charged Wednesday in a federal indictment.

Prosecutors say that Mack robbed the Hills Bank in downtown Cedar Rapids on May 2.

Mack appeared in federal court on Thursday and is being held without bond. He could not be reached for comment.

His is set to stand trial on Aug. 4.
