CLEAR LAKE, Iowa (AP) - Construction has resumed on a million-gallon water tower in northern Iowa’s Clear Lake.

The Mason City Globe Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1oHTngu ) that the new pedestal tower, being built by Landmark Structures of Fort Worth, Texas, replaces the 250,000-gallon, multi-legged tower near Four Winds Drive.

Demolition of the old tower is scheduled for March 2015.
