PURVIS, Miss. (AP) - The Lamar County Board of Supervisors has approved a $422,000 AT&T; contract to upgrade communication systems for the county’s new 911 dispatch center.

County Administrator Chuck Bennett tells WDAM (https://bit.ly/1osdLlI) that construction of the center is expected to be completed in about a year.
