FREEPORT, Maine (AP) - Wolfe’s Neck Woods State Park in Freeport will host a series of osprey watches in June.

Osprey are birds of prey that feed mostly on fish and are sometimes called “fish hawks.” The watches begin by the osprey sign opposite Googins Island and are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. on June 7, 15, 17, 21, 24 and 29.

Reservations are only required for group use. Admission is $1 for ages five to 11, $3 for Maine residents age 12 to 64, $4.5o for non-residents age 12 to 64, and $1.50 for non-residents age 65 and older. More information is available by calling 207-865-4465.
