NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (AP) - Rhode Island health officials say the North Kingstown town beach can be reopened for swimming.

Their recommendation Saturday was based on water samples showing bacteria levels within acceptable limits.

State officials say that currently all licensed bathing beaches are open and safe for swimming.
