RINGWOOD, N.J. (AP) - A northern New Jersey woman has been charged with manslaughter for allegedly selling heroin to a man who died after overdosing on the drug.

Passaic County prosecutors say bail was set at $250,000 for 22-year-old Amanda Lee of Ringwood. She also faces drug possession and distribution charges.

Lee is charged in the death of 27-year-old Kenneth Durfee, who was found Feb. 2 in his Ringwood home. Authorities say Durfee’s body was discovered in his bedroom, surrounded by drug paraphernalia.

Authorities say they traced the heroin back to Lee, who allegedly had sold the drug to Durfee the day before he died. She faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
