MARYDEL, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say two men are dead after a head-on crash in Marydel.

Police say 27-year-old Estanislao Lopez-Berduo of Marydel was traveling west on Halltown Road on Saturday night when his vehicle crossed into the eastbound lanes for unknown reasons. The car crashed head-on with another vehicle driven by 18-year-old Zachary Rogers of Marydel.

Both men suffered traumatic injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. Two female passengers in the car driven by Rogers were taken to a hospital but were expected to survive.

Police say they suspect alcohol was a factor in the crash on the part of Lopez-Berduo.

Halltown Road was closed for about three hours Saturday night for an investigation and to clear the wreckage.
