STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma State had five players selected on the final day of the 2014 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.

Zach Fish was the first to hear his name called on Saturday as the junior outfielder was an 11th-round pick of the Chicago White Sox.

The next three Cowboys selected are all seniors. Closer Brendan McCurry was a 22nd-round pick of Oakland. In the 23rd round, the Atlanta Braves selected OSU first baseman Tanner Krietemeier. And Vince Wheeland was the first pick of the 24th round by Houston.

The final Cowboy drafted was pitcher Jon Perrin, who was the 1,000th overall pick and went to Detroit in the 33rd round. A right-hander junior, Perrin earned All-Big 12 First Team honors in 2014, his first year as a starter.
