HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) - Correctional officers were searching for a minimum security inmate who was reported missing from his work site over the weekend.

The Hutchinson News (https://bit.ly/1o2IIkF ) reports 43-year-old Christopher Ward was discovered missing around 5:30 p.m. Saturday from his work site at Cal-Maine Industries.

The Hutchinson Correctional Facility inmate was incarcerated for convictions for burglary, theft, aggravated burglary, fleeing and eluding, and aggravated escape from custody. The convictions were in Butler and Sedgwick counties, and Ward was due to be released in just over two years.

Ward is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 181 pounds.
