FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - Navajo officials say a patron at a northern Arizona casino has died.

Derrick Watchman, chief executive of the Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise, says a member of a tour group collapsed Saturday on the floor of Twin Arrows Navajo Casino near Flagstaff.

Watchman says security and emergency responders were on the scene immediately but the person was declared deceased.

The patron was not a member of the Navajo tribe.

The Coconino County Medical Examiner’s Office is now investigating.

Watchman says gaming officials are not releasing the patron’s name or any other details out of respect for the family’s privacy.

Twin Arrows opened in May 2013 and is one of nearly two dozen tribal casinos across the state.
