ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Several people suffered minor injuries Saturday night when a tent sheltering wedding reception guests in Albuquerque collapsed.

The Albuquerque Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1n0QSop) 40 guests were finishing dinner at about 7:30 p.m. at the Sandia Resort and Casino golf course when a wind gust caused the 30-by-40-foot tent to come down.

Authorities say two people were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries while six others were treated at the resort.

Michael Garcia, a wedding guest, told KOB-TV (https://bit.ly/1ozHuuS) that a tent pole hit his head but he managed to get back up and help people get out of the tent.
