SCOTIA, N.Y. (AP) - New York Army National Guard Lt. Colonel Thomas Benton is turning over command of the 2nd Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Team to Lt. Colonel Andrew “Drew” Pinckney.

A formal change-of-command ceremony is planned Monday afternoon at the Stratton Air National Guard Base in Scotia.

Both men are veterans of the war in Afghanistan.
