NEW YORK (AP) - Police have identified a man found dead in front of a New York City bar that appears in the TV reality series “Mob Wives.”

Police say Abdou Cisse was discovered unconscious around 3:30 a.m. Sunday at the Drunken Monkey Bar & Grill on Staten Island.

Police say the 46-year-old suffered severe head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bar owner Sallyann Lombardi tells the Staten Island Advance (https://bit.ly/1oCKI0B ) Cisse was a regular customer and was trying to help the bouncer remove unruly patrons.

The newspaper says one of the men punched Cisse in the face and knocked him to the ground.

There have been no arrests.

Drunken Monkey is home turf to “Mob Wives” star Angela “Big Ang” Raiola. She and Lombardi opened the bar in 2007.
