TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Free agent linebacker Dane Fletcher and offensive lineman Oniel Cousins have signed contracts with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fletcher joins the Bucs after spending four seasons with the New England Patriots. He’s started six of 38 games he’s appeared in during his career and has played extensively on special teams.

Cousins spent the past three seasons the Cleveland Browns. He started nine of 60 games he’s played in during a career that began with a three-year stint with the Baltimore Ravens.

The Bucs, who are overhauling their roster under new coach Lovie Smith, announced the deals Monday.
