CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - An upgrade to South Carolina’s busiest airport is ready to open its doors.

The Post and Courier of Charleston reports (https://bit.ly/OoiJ72 ) that the new 6,200-square-foot car rental pavilion is set to open at the Charleston International Airport on Wednesday.

It’s part of a $190 million renovation at the 29-year-old airport terminal just off Interstate 26.

As part of the renovation work, the new terminal will have three baggage carousels replacing two old ones.
