CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (AP) - The West Virginia Division of Highways plans to replace the decks on four bridges on U.S. 50 and two others in Clarksburg.

The $5.8 million project is scheduled to begin May 1.

Construction engineer Jason Nelson with the DOH’s District 4 tells The Exponent Telegram (https://bit.ly/1l6DCkQ) that the work is expected to be completed by July 2015.

The project is being funded with federal and state funds.

Nelson also says the final phase of a $4.6 million repaving of U.S. 50 will begin Monday.
