FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Fallyn Freije’s 3-pointer with 13 seconds left in the fifth-place game lifted Lakota-Edmore to a 40-39 win over Kidder County at the North Dakota Class B girls basketball tournament Saturday.

Freije scored six of the first seven points in the fourth quarter to knot the game 37-37 before hitting the game-winning 3. She shot 9-for-15 from the field, including three 3s, and finished with a game-high 23 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks.

The Raiders got five points from Jaedyn Pesek and Mary Haman, who also had three assists.

Sadie Rohrich was the top performer for the Pirates (20-7) with nine points and nine rebounds. Rebecca Schmidt shot 75 percent for eight points and Morgan Rohrich added seven points.
