WASHINGTON (AP) - More than 200 District of Columbia residents are more than 100 years old, and Mayor Vincent Gray is honoring some of those centenarians at a luncheon.
City officials say nearly 40 centenarians are expected to attend the annual event, which will be held Monday on the campus of Gallaudet University.
The honorees will receive a medallion to celebrate their longevity, and a souvenir program will include information about their lives and experiences.
