PADUCAH, Ky. (AP) - A pair of photojournalists from Russia are in western Kentucky this month with their eyes on the Ohio and Tennessee rivers.

Oksana Yushko and Arthur Bondar of Moscow are participating in the Paducah Arts Alliance’s artist-in-residence program through April 4.

The alliance says Yushko and Bondar plan to create a collaborative photo documentary during their time in Paducah, and the work will be exhibited by the alliance.

The city says the pair are documenting how the confluence of the rivers influences citizens’ daily lives.

Yushko and Bondar spent time in Sochi photographing their experiences during the recent Winter Olympics.
