PRATTVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Prattville police are seeking the public’s help to stop a rash of vandalism in city parks.

Police tell WAKA-TV (https://bit.ly/P8OZLq) that they’re responding to calls sometimes three to four times a week.

Vandalism ranges from torn up grass caused by four-wheelers and trucks to graffiti. Picnic tables and sinks and toilets have also been damaged.

Prattville Police Chief Mark Thompson says the problem has increased in the last several months, and that police are doing more patrols in an effort to prevent the vandalism.
