KANONA, N.Y. (AP) - Sheriff’s deputies say an upstate New York woman who had been reported missing last week has been found dead.

WHEC-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1hLGXPK ) Bobbie Jo Hatter was discovered in a hunting blind near County Route 14 in Steuben County Saturday morning.

Authorities tell the station she was found unresponsive. They say they’re still investigating and haven’t yet determined how she died.

The 40-year-old Kanona woman was last seen Wednesday evening. The station says she was disoriented and confused.

Kanona is about 77 miles south of Rochester.
