MIDDLETOWN, Del. (AP) - Officials in Middletown say the town council election has been postponed by the winter storm.

WDEL-AM reports (https://bit.ly/1g4QVef) that the election set for Monday has been postponed by three weeks. It will now occur on March 24.

Four candidates are running for three spots on the town council. Vice-mayor James Reynolds and council members Robin Burgess and Richard Catterton are seeking re-election. Robert McGhee is also seeking a seat. Terms are for two-years.
