BREITUNG TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Police have released the name of a Wisconsin man who died in a weekend snowmobile crash in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

State police say 37-year-old Chad Schlenvoght of Port Washington died following the crash about 2 a.m. Sunday in Dickinson County’s Breitung Township. The site is about two miles northwest of Iron Mountain in the western Upper Peninsula.

On Saturday, a 45-year-old man was killed when his snowmobile collided with a parked SUV in Van Buren County’s Columbia Township in southwestern lower Michigan.

The sheriff’s department says the crash happened about 9:15 p.m. in Columbia Township. It identifies the victim as Scott Friend of Decatur.
