PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - Three more South Dakota properties have been added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The National Register is the list of properties the federal government deems worthy of recognition and preservation.

The South Dakota State Historical Society says the recent additions are the Sievers School in rural Faulk County, the Nansen Store in Howard and Iron Nation’s Gravesite on the Lower Brule Indian Reservation in Lyman County.
