CINCINNATI (AP) - Cincinnati police say a $2,000 reward is being offered for information leading to a pair of teenagers suspected of shooting a man who was sitting on his porch and refused their demands to hand over his backpack.

Police say the 65-year-old man was shot in the abdomen on Feb. 20, severing his spine and leaving him in critical condition at a hospital. Police say two male teenagers took the man’s bag and fled.

A statement from the police department says the teens are considered a possible threat to the community. The Crimestoppers program is offering the reward for information leading to their identification and arrest.
