MACON, Ga. (AP) - The Macon-Bibb County Commission has approved a $2 million construction contract for a new animal shelter.
The Telegraph reports (https://bit.ly/1fGASsd) that commissioners approved the contract with a unanimous vote Tuesday night.
In November 2012, voters approved a penny sales tax referendum to pay for the new animal shelter.
