WINTHROP, Maine (AP) - Winthrop police are seeking the public’s help in identifying an armed robber who wore green pajama bottoms and a mask when he held up a convenience store.

Police say the robbery at the Circle K Convenience Store and Gas Station occurred at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday and was captured on surveillance video.

A white male with brown eyes in his early 20s, between 5-foot-7 and 6 feet-tall, wearing a white mask, a dark hooded sweatshirt, bright green pajama bottoms and white sneakers walked into the store, showed a handgun and demanded money.

Police tell the Morning Sentinel (https://bit.ly/MN5s6t ) the sweatshirt had a logo and the phrase ‘Support the Twins’ on the back.

The man fled on foot with an unspecified amount of cash.
