BANGOR, Maine (AP) - A main road in Bangor is slick with ice after a six-inch water main broke in the downtown area.
Bangor police are redirecting traffic around the ice slick that formed when a water main broke early Thursday morning in frigid temperatures just above State Street on Broadway.
Repair crews have been on the scene since early Thursday morning. District engineer Rick Pershken in the Bangor Water District Engineering Department says he expects repairs will be finished this afternoon.
