LAMAR, Pa. (AP) - State police say two men were struck and killed by a tractor-trailer while walking on a central Pennsylvania interstate.

Police in Clinton County say the men were on I-80 in Porter Township near westbound Exit 173 when they were hit just before 3 a.m. Thursday.

Coroner Zach Hanna identified the victims as 29-year-old David Flores of Baltimore and Jesus Chazea Jr., whose age and address are not yet known.

He said both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said it was unclear what the men were doing on the highway. The accident remains under investigation.
