FLINT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities in the Flint area say three protective vests and a stun gun have been stolen from an unmarked police car.

TV stations WEYI and WNEM report the theft of the police-issued vests and the stun gun took place in Genesee County’s Flint Township.

Police say suspects were spotted Wednesday on a security camera driving away in a dark blue Dodge or Chrysler minivan from the early 2000s.

Authorities haven’t said what department the bullet-resistant vests and stun gun were from. Tips are being sought from the public.
