AMITE, La. (AP) - The Tangipahoa Parish School Board has purchased a nearly 25,000-square-foot building that will allow it to consolidate operations from three other separate buildings.

Real estate agent Justin Langlois says the board paid $800,000 for the property in Hammond.

The seller of the building was Hanman Investments LLC.

Langlois tells The Advocate (https://bit.ly/1lJpDxU) the school board plans to use part of the property as a resource and training center and will use the rest as a warehouse.
