CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (AP) - Girls Scouts are making a sweet donation to the Mountaineer Food Bank in Clarksburg.

Representatives from the food bank are headed to the Black Diamond Council to pick up the first installment of Girl Scout cookies. They’ll leave with 81 cases of cookies to be distributed at local food pantries.

Chad Morrison is with the Mountaineer Food Bank. He said the Girl Scout cookies are an important donation for families that are struggling. He said it brings a “sense of normalcy” to a family in need.
