KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Those who are allergic or sensitive to gluten are invited to the 5th annual Gluten Free Vendor Fair in Knoxville on May 31. Officials at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital say the fair has grown into one of the largest gluten-free events in North America, and will feature dozens of businesses that cater to those with gluten intolerance.

The fair will offer free food samples, cooking demonstrations, gluten-free products for purchase and guest speakers, including a dietitian and a gastroenterologist. The event will also off a number of activities for children.

The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Grande Event Center on Clinton Highway. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 3 to 13, and is free for kids 2 and under.
