STOKESDALE, N.C. (AP) - Officials say a body found in Belews Lake has been identified as a missing fisherman.

A medical examiner at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center used dental records to identify the body pulled from the lake early Tuesday as that of James Pascual Bohenstiel, 44, of Kernersville. The medical examiner said Bohenstiel drowned and there was no foul play.

Bohenstiel and Jacob Allen Line, 27, also of Kernersville, had been missing since April 17 when they did not return home from a fishing trip. A boater found the men’s personal belongings.

Stokes County Emergency Services director Greg Collins says searchers are still trying to fine Line’s body.

A Rockingham County reserve deputy found the body in a part of the lake that ranges between 20 and 100 feet deep. Officer Joe Dyke said he had been searching the late twice a day.

More than 400 people have taken part in the search of the lake, which totals nearly 3,900 acres and has 88 miles of shoreline. Search efforts have included divers, sonar, dogs a helicopter and boats.
