DECATUR, Ga. (AP) - DeKalb County police say they’re planning to honor fallen officers during a ceremony in downtown Decatur.

Officials say the department will recognize fallen officers from several DeKalb County jurisdictions and the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority’s police department at the DeKalb Historic Center on Wednesday morning.

Organizers say Officer Ivorie Klusmann, who was killed in the line of duty Aug. 10, 2013, will have his name added to the Fallen Officer Memorial. Klusmann’s name will be the 41st addition to the memorial, and organizers say the ceremony will include a 21-gun salute and a helicopter flyover.
