HONOLULU (AP) - Signs warning of sharks in the area have been posted at Alii Beach in Oahu’s Haleiwa.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser (https://is.gd/GKXFam) says surfers spotted an 8-foot long, nonaggressive shark Tuesday at surf break.

Ocean Safety and Lifeguard Services Division spokeswoman Shayne Enright says the shark was seen about 150 yards offshore.
