COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Four politicians who might decide to run for president in 2016 are attending campaign events within a couple hundred miles of each other in central Ohio and northern Kentucky.

Ohio Republican Gov. John Kasich (KAY’-sik) got help in his re-election bid from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour at a Saturday rally in Columbus. Christie also plans to campaign Saturday for Republican governors in Georgia and Florida.

Meanwhile, Ohio Sen. Rob Portman was to be in northern Kentucky for a rally for Senate Minority Leader and fellow Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell. Also, former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton was campaigning Saturday in northern Kentucky with McConnell’s Democratic challenger Alison Lundergan Grimes.

Clinton’s husband, former President Bill Clinton campaigned Thursday for Grimes in Kentucky.
