MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (AP) - A Connecticut man is facing his first court appearance since being accused of wandering into the wrong home drunk and getting into bed with a stranger.

Twenty-six-year-old Tyler Sullivan of Haddam faces misdemeanor trespassing and disorderly conduct charges. Arraignment is set for Tuesday in Middletown Superior Court.

Police say the incident happened early in the morning of Oct. 25 at an apartment complex in Clinton. Officials say Sullivan told officers he thought he was at his mother’s apartment, which is in the same complex. Authorities say a man in the home woke up startled with Sullivan next to him and called 911.

Sullivan told WTNH-TV that he was sorry for what he did and apologized to the resident of the apartment. He said he had too much to drink.
