LEWES, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police are investigating an incident at a construction site that left one man dead on Friday afternoon.

Police say a 25-year-old man was behind the wheel of a 2013 Chevrolet pick-up truck at around 1:40 p.m. when he began backing out of the driveway of a home under construction. Police say the driver failed to see his 61-year-old co-worker standing in the driveway and backed over him. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both men were employed by a concrete company that was hired to work at the site.

Police say the incident is under investigation.
