MIDDLETOWN, N.J. (AP) - One person is dead after a car crashed and burst into flames in Middletown.

The accident occurred early Sunday on McLees Road.

The Asbury Park Press (https://on.app.com/1xd0vJD ) reports police have not released the person’s name until relatives are notified.

An autopsy is planned for Monday.
