PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Falling trees disrupted Portland’s evening commute on Tuesday.
The St. Johns Bridge was closed in both directions for more than an hour as crews removed a downed tree.
Another tree blocked the Yellow Line of Portland light rail. Shuttle buses were moving commuters around the area near the Expo Center.
Other downed trees in the Portland metro area brought down power lines and blocked side streets. Just before 5 p.m. a tree fell on a cyclist, who sustained traumatic, but not life-threatening injuries.
