Woman shot in foot in Wilmington, Delaware

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Wilmington police say a woman was shot near Lancaster Avenue.

Officers say they received a called for a shooting about 2:35 p.m. Tuesday. Police found a woman in a home with a gunshot wound to her foot.

She was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

Police say suspects in the shooting were described as a group of men in hoodies.
