EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - A 10-year-old boy struck by a car Thursday morning in Everett suffered two broken legs.

The Daily Herald reports ( ) he is a student at Challenger Elementary School who was hit while walking his bike across a street.

Sgt. Ryan Dalberg says the driver cooperated with police and was not speeding or impaired. Dalberg says it was an accident.
