BOSTON (AP) - Two Boston firefighters suffered minor injuries battling a four-alarm blaze that caused an estimated $3 million in damage to an office building.

Officials say flames were shooting out of the building on the 800 block of Beacon Street when emergency responders arrived shortly before 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

One firefighter injured a foot and another suffered a shoulder injury. Both were treated at a nearby hospital.

A neighboring apartment building was evacuated as a precaution and residents were sheltered on transit buses, but authorities say fire walls prevented the blaze from spreading to the five-story building.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
