NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans police say two women, ages 35 and 22, are hospitalized after being stabbed by a woman described as a stranger who bumped into them in a Bourbon Street nightclub.

Police spokesman Frank Robertson says the 35-year-old told investigators she corrected the stranger, who began yelling profanities. She says a fight began, the woman pulled something from a boot and stabbed them both, then ran away.

The 35-year-old told police she realized she’d been stabbed when she saw her friend fall.

The wanted woman is described as black, 5-foot-7, with a medium build. She was wearing a black top with straps, black pants and red-and-black boots.

Police have surveillance video of the incident on YouTube and are asking for tips. Tipsters can get a reward of up to $2,500.
