DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) - A made-in-Michigan exhibition on Arab Americans who have served the nation is heading to Capitol Hill next week.

The exhibition, “Patriots & Peacemakers: Arab Americans in Service to Our Country,” will be featured in the Russell Senate Office Building for five days starting Nov. 10. Public viewing periods are planned each day in the rotunda.

It’s timed to coincide with Veterans Day on Nov. 11.

Patriots & Peacemakers opened in 2011 at the Arab American National Museum in the Detroit suburb of Dearborn and has crisscrossed the country. It features 170 people from 39 states who have served in the armed forces, diplomatic corps and Peace Corps.

The museum says the exhibition helps show the role Arabs have played in defending the nation since the American Revolution.
