ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Police say a Southern California bicyclist was killed after a pickup truck struck her and fled.

Anaheim police Lt. Bob Dunn says investigators are searching for the driver of a white pickup truck who rammed into a 44-year-old bicyclist on Magnolia Ave. shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday.

Dunn says the victim was taken to a hospital and died early Sunday. He says she is the mother of eight children, most who are now adults.

The Orange County coroner’s office has identified the victim as Daniella Palacios of Anaheim.
