MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - The Community College of Vermont is hosting a forum where the state’s veterans will be able to tell their stories.

On Monday, Nov. 10, veterans from World War II to the present will tell their stories at Community College’s Winooski center. The event is scheduled from 7-9 p.m.

During Veterans day week CCV staff will continue their annual Yellow Ribbon project, when faculty, staff and students are encouraged to write notes of thanks or remembrance to veterans or service member on yellow ribbons.

The ribbons will be hung in the windows for passers-by to read and enjoy. At the end of the week the ribbons will be collected and presented to veterans’ organizations and others around the state.
